Hi, I'm Emma and my pronouns are she/her. I am a dynamic and grounded stage manager with a passion for new works and community projects. Currently, I am in my final semester at Webster Conservatory in St. Louis, MO.
I have enjoyed working with the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center (National Playwrights Conference and Caberet Conference 2019), St. Louis Shakespeare Festival (The Thousand Natural Shocks and Romeo and Juliet), and Repertory Theatre St. Louis (Evita). Educational credits include Water by the Spoonful, Canfield Drive, The Living, Miss You Like Hell, and The Little Prince.
Stage managing brings me joy through the opportunity to work both creatively and logistically. I approach stage managing as a position of service: service to my colleagues, to a playwright, to an audience, and to the greater impact theatre can have.
I strive to be antiracist in my personal and professional life. A focus of my career is to use my privilege to make theatre more equitable and accessible to a diverse group of communities.
Beyond theater, I enjoy traveling, hiking, gardening,
yoga, reading, and cooking.
